Fan installation [P1 EVO]

1. Tools needed for installation:
   

1. set of fans with brackets,
2. universal pliers narrow,
3. 2.5mm Allen spanner,
4. 2mm Allen spanner,
   
5. silicone washers.

1. Preparation for installation:
   

1. Place the P1EVO on the service table with the pixels facing downwards.
   
2. Unscrew the 4 screws securing the electronics cover using a 2.5 mm Allen spanner.
   
3. Lift the electronics cover and disconnect the cable from LPU2 to LDB3 and DMX5.
   
4. Place the electronics cover on a material that protects it from scratches 
   
5. Using pliers, detach the PE wire from the PowerCon socket (place the pliers at the level of the wire sleeve compression)
   
6. Loosen the 4 screws securing the power supply unit using a 2mm Allen spanner
   

2. Fan installation:
   

1. Prepare a set of fans with handles 
   
   
2. Place silicone washers between the fan holder and the power supply.

   
3. Place the left fan so that the holes in the bracket match those in the PSU. 
   
4. Attach the left fan to the PSU using M3 screws and a 2mm Allen spanner
   
5. Place the right fan so that the holes in the bracket match those in the PSU
   
6.  Attach the right fan to the PSU using M3 screws and a 2mm Allen spanner
   
7. Insert the fan plug into the 12V socket on the power supply unit
   

3. Final assembly:
   

1. Connect the PE wire to the PE pin on the PowerCon socket
   
2. Lift the electronics cover and connect the cable from LPU2 to LDB3 and DMX5
   
3. Put the electronics cover on the electronics box
   
   
4. Screw the electronics cover to the electronics box using M4 screws and a 2.5mm Allen key.​
