Steps:
- Place the device so that the electronics box is facing down
- Unscrew the covers of the pixel box of the arm in which you want to tighten the hinge
- Remove the cover of the pixel can. With a gloved hand, grab the filament and, bending the source to one side, pull it out by lifting the opposite side.
- Using a Philips screwdriver, unscrew the 4 screws holding the pixel box and set the pixel box aside by removing the 4 black washers.
- Pull out the white wires along with the electrical block and use a flathead screwdriver to unscrew the wires that come out of the arm side
- Loosen the two screws holding the hinge bracket with a 10 socket wrench. Pulling the ball, remove the handle.
- Unscrew the 6 silver screws with an Allen 3 wrench and the two black screws with a T4 torx wrench
- Disconnect arms
- Pull the light source cable out of the arm and remove the hinge from the cable.
You need two flat wrenches, size 17, for the next task.
11. Putting a 17-flat wrench on one nut in the hinge and a torque wrench on the nut on the other side of the hinge-tighten the hinge with a force of 29Nm.
12. Unscrewed, it looks like this.
13. Now take The P2 Hexaline Hinge repair KIT and prepare it for next step.
14. Unfold the P2 Hexaline Hinge repair KIT.
15. It is important to put the gasket that way so the thicker part should be directed to the middle.
16. When put into the hinge before screwing the second nut, remember that the other gasket also should be directed to the middle with the thicker side.
17. Now srew the nut.
18. Again putting a 17-flat wrench on one nut in the hinge and a torque wrench on the nut on the other side of the hinge-tighten the hinge with a force of 29 Nm.
