PCB Filament 1800K 3W KIT replacement [P1 mini]

  1. Open front cover and remove the old LED filament. Remove the rubber band if installed.
  2. Unscrew RGBW bracket – 2 screws
  3. Pick up the RGBW bracket. Pay attention to the black cable. It might be mounted under the reflector
  4. Remove the reflector
  5. Cut the filament wires – the red and black one. Make sure you cut closest to the soldered end.
  6. Unplug the RGBW wires and the out the RGBW bracket
  7. Unscrew two little filament holders, and throw them away. Use pliers. Keep the nuts.
  8. Put the PCB adapter where the filament holder was screwed. Screw on the nut. Do it on both ends. Use pliers. Adjust it so the adapter is in straight line with the bracket.
  9. Take the new PCB filament. Connect the red wires using BUTT CONNECTOR. Slide both wired into the connector and squeeze it with pliers.
  10. When wires are connected the button should stay pressed. GENTLY pull the wire to check if it’s connected.
  11. Do the same (step 9 and 10) with the black wire.
  12. Plug the RGBW wires. There is no difference which one was left or right.
  13. Hide the wire as much as you can. Leave as much to finish the assembly.
  14. Put the reflector under the RGBW bracket. Hide the wires behind the reflector.DO NOT put wires under the reflector ! Pay attention so you would not cut the wires while screwing the bracket back.
  15. Place the PCB filament together with the sheet on the adapters. Tighten the nut by hand. Then use pliers to gently tighten the nuts. Put the front covers back on and check that the fixture works properly. Also check the main source and RGBW colors. If there are any problems, check the wiring connection again.
  16. Put the front covers back and check if the luminaire works fine. Check main sources and RGBW colors as well. In case of any problems check the wire connection again.
