Wire replacement in Pixel 3,4 [P2 EVO]
- 2.5mm Allen spanner, imbus 2,5mm
- 2mm Allen spanner, imbus 2mm
Wire replacement:
- Place P2EVO with the pixels facing up.
- Using a 2.5mm Allen wrench, unscrew the pixel cover from the left and right sides, gently open the cover and set it aside.
- Using a 2mm Allen wrench, remove the 4 RGBW 12 mounting screws on the left and right sides
- Remove the left and right RGBW 12 strips outside the pixel box.
- Gently bend the reflector from the left and right side of the pixel and lift it out of the pixel.
- Using a 2mm screwdriver, unscrew the blender handles.
- Remove the blender along with the handles from the pixel can.
- Unplug the wires from the RGBW12 and Halo Led 1-6 strips (mark the defective wire with tape, for example)
- Remove with a 2.5mm screwdriver the screws holding the pixel box
- Lift the can, pull out the wires and put the can aside.
- Turn the P2 EVO over so that the electronics box is facing up.
- Using a 2.4mm screwdriver, remove the 4 screws holding the electronics cover.
- Remove and invert the electronics cover. Unplug the L wires, the wire connecting the LPUz LDB and the DMX wire.
- Disconnect the RGBW and Halo Led wires from the LDB. When disconnecting the plugs, mark the order with a thin marker according to the order on the LDB.
- Remove the screws holding the LDB and the power supply with a 2mm screwdriver.
- Unplug the power cord to the power supply. Remove the power supply and LDB from the electronics box.
- Remove the defective RGBW 12- LDB cable. Insert a working cable. Remembering that the larger end is connected to the LDB side.
- Invert the P2 EVO so that the pixels face upward.
- Put the pixel can to the middle arm (remember to position the can so that the socket on Halo Led 1-6 is facing up the lamps. Thread the wires from the RGBW and Halo Led through the holes in the can.
- Tighten with a 2.5mm screwdriver the screws holding the pixel box
- Clip the wires from the RGBW12 and Halo Led strips 1-6
- Arrange the connected RGBW 12 sources on the sides of the can and place the reflector in the can,
- Place the RGBW 12 between the reflector and the pixel box and screw with a 2mm Allen.
- Put the pixel cover on the can and screw it on with a 2.5mm Allen.
- Flip the P2 EVO over so that the pixels are facing down.
- Place the power supply and LDB in the box and screw it in place with a 2mm screwdriver. Take care not to pinch the wires from the sources under the LDB. Clip the power cord to the LDB.
- Pin the wires from the RGBW 12 and Halo Led 1-6 sources to the LDB according to the marker descriptions.
- Connect the L wires to the Switch Rocker, the LDB wire to the LPU, the DMX wire to the DMX jack on the LPU.
- Close the electronics cover and screw it on with a 2.5mm Allen.
